1997 GMC Suburban AC compressor not working after repair of

We took our 1997 Suburban to the shop to have the upper manifold replaced. When we got it back the AC compressor won't cut on and doesn't appear to cool at all? Is this something they should have messed with? It was fine when they got it.

Hi:
Make sure the electrical connection is clean and tight. If it is, have the system pressure checked. It may have lost freon due to them working on it.
