1996 GMC Suburban hesitates when i give it gas

Engine Performance problem
1996 GMC Suburban V8 Two Wheel Drive

my like stalls or hesitates when i give it gas and idols rough but only does it once in awhile took it to check engine code said no. 8 was misfiring so i change spark plugs and wiring engine light went off now it came back on it is doing all over again

Check spark plug,compression and fuel injector on #8 cylinder.
