My Suburban is facing up an incline driveway. Stuck in park.
I've:
1)checked steering column linkage (replaced steering column linear shift bracket) because I tried to muscle the gear to move from park and broke the peice. Linkage is fine. Tranny cable moves free when detached from tranny park neutral switch.
2)replaced the brake/stop switch. Did not help.
3) lifted the rear. Rotated the back tires. Was able to shift out of park.
but then.
4) shifted into park with foot on brakes. Set parking brake. Then released brake. Turned off engine. Dropped back end. And tried to shift out of park again. Nothing
5)tried lifting the rear again several times and repeating process. Nothing

How do I check if signal is getting from brake switch to park/neutral switch on transmission?
If I can't figure it out, is there any way to bypass any of these systems to get it in gears so I can take it to a shop?

It's probably your shift interlock switch. that is there so you must hit the brake beforemoving the shift lever. If you don't want to do this yourself there should be a button on it so you just depress that and it will come out of park. I'm including a wiring diagram that will tell where it is.
