Why does the 10amp, #24 fuse for the 4WD in my passenger compartment fuse box pop when, I shift the truck into 4WD ? ? ?

I had the same problem. I had to change out the front 4WD engaging actuater because the boot sprug a leak and shorted to actuater. Unplug it, screw it out, put the new one in. About $100
