1994 GMC Suburban Will not crank.

I have a 1994 Chevy Suburban 5.7 liter V8 that will not crank over, no click nothing. Replaced starter same thing?

Short out the starter solenoid if it cranks the engine over-check and test the ignition switch-if not starter problem.
