My four wheel drive will not fully engage. I was told that the sensor may not be fully opening. I need to know where the actuator is located. It is fully electrical and does not have the vacum hose like the S10 and Blazer. It does sound like it is starting to go into four wheel drive then doesn't engage. I can hear it clincking and it jumps the shifter up into nutaral while I am driving doen the road. I don't want to mess my transmission up. The lights come on when I shift into four wheel drive. Can some one please help me with this problem? Thank you.

Hi The actuator is on the side of the transfer case. Chances are it isn't working properly. Check to make sure it is getting power when you hit the push button. If you are, reomve it and check for operation.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
