1986 GMC Suburban A/C blower

My ac blower motor is turning on and works on all settings except high. If i try to turn my ac to high it will work for about a minute then shut off... once it shuts off i can switch it to normal and it works. can anyone help me to access the problem?

seems like High setting may be overloading system and causing it to shut down, check the ground wiring to the blower motor, control switches and blower resistor.
