2004 GMC Sonoma Automatic 86,000 miles

About a year ago, we notice the "service engine soon" light would come on when we drove from our home (apx 6800 ft elevation) to anywhere downhill, then it would go off again. About a month ago, it came on for good. We brought it to the dealer, and they ran the computer diagnostics on it, and then replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, 3 oxygen sensors, and the air mass flow sensor. The light went off - for about 2 days. We brought it back, and they have replaced one oxygen sensor twice more, and each time the light stays off for a day or two, then it's on again. The truck droves just fine. What could be causing this and what - if anything - should we do at this point.?

Hi mmelicosta,

Thank you for the donation.

Get a scan done to retrieve the code and post it here. It would provide us with an insight of the problem.

Since dealer had replaced some parts, they should be responsible for rectifying the problem. Let them check through again and make sure they know you are not happy about the whole situation.
