2003 GMC Sonoma slow fuel fill problem

Several months now I have had slow fuel fill. I have tried holding pump handle upside down, leaving the engine on, shutting the engine off and waiting several minutes, different stations and types of gas. Any suggestions?

HI there,

The fuel tank venting system has failed, will be a job for a mechanic as it may require the removal of the fuel tank to fix.
