Electrical problem
2003 GMC Sonoma 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2003 GMC sonoma with 91,000 miles on it and the Service engine light is on and is steady on I took it to Advance Auto and they couldn't get any code to come up in thier reader. So I took it to one of the local repair shops to see what they could do about it and their reader came up with nothing as well. I check all fuses and gas cap they're good. What could be causing this and how can i turn the light off?

Hi there,

You may have to try a factory reader, and if that is no good the ECU will need to tested for a fault itself.
