2001 GMC Sonoma Problem with left rear blinker

I noticed about two days ago on my dash when i turned on my left blinker it was bliking fast, with my little knowledge i know the bulb was out. i found it to be my left rear blinker/brake light, i have switched the bulb and now there has been no change. any suggestions or answers please email me at earclopes@yahoo.com

check all bulbs in the left rear. then go to the flasher fuse,check/replace if necessary.
