1999 GMC Sonoma Water pump question!

1999 GMC Sonoma 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

How do you remove a water pump for a 1999 GMC Sonoma? We have not been able to remove the fan from the water pump so we can take out the water pump! Please Help! Thanks!

Put a it of extra tension on the serp belt to hold the pulley, give the wrench a quick slap and remove the bolts.
