My truck will not come out of park even when running and I push on brakes. what should I be looking at.

you need to release your abits switch. if you have a floor shift it wil be next tothe shifter under the console. If you are lucky there may be an access plug next totthe shifter which you pop that up and take a screwdeiver or key and press down on the switch and it will release it. you don't need the key on for that. If not it may be under the steering column.
