Transmission problem
1994 GMC Sonoma 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 280 th miles

Was cruising about 70 mph from Austin to Houston for about an hour and I could smell the rear end and it was getting warm.. so I went back to Austin. I'm pretty sure that the fluid is low in the rear, and would like to know the easiest way to change and add more fluid to the rear end.

your best bet is to remove the bolts from(pumpkin)rear and replace the fluid with new and check for damage you'll need a tork wrench to replace the bolts change the seal too
