1992 GMC Sonoma Truck Starts then sputters then stops

1992 GMC Sonoma Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 85000 miles

I have replaced the spark plugs and wires. Put on a new distrubutor cap..and my truck is acting no different then before...I will start it then it sputters then dies...sometimes it will re-start and sometimes it will not..Could it be my fuel pump or fuel filter.?????

yes it would be your fuel filter or fuel pump, it could also be out of time. Cad. Convertors could be stopped up also, just some things to look for.
