2007 GMC Sierra auto 4x4 lockup

Upon losing traction, the auto 4x4 feature comes on without being selected.Right side only,pulls to ditch.Chattering occurs as if trying to turn while in 4WD.A few hundred yards down the road it disengages by itself. All fluid levels good and factory recommended changes up to date. (auto 4x4 is an awesome feature.Hope I can find an inexpensive fix)

Your TCCM may need to be reflashed by the dealer, there is a tech bulliten on your truck for reflashing when certain codes are present.
