2005 GMC Sierra Pinging noise when accelerate at slow rate

Hi,
I have a 2005 GMC Denali truck w/ 40,000 miles on it and I've recently noticed a pinging noise coming from the engine when accelerating slowly. I hear it most at about 35 - 45 mph and uphill especially. What could this be you think?

check the ignition timing first off all make sure its on also could be crossfire, make sure no two cylinders spark plug wires run parralel if distributed model.
