Does any body know why my 2004 Seirra oil pressure gauge goes really high sometimes I drive it. It goes as high as off the numbers on the gauge. Do I need a new oil pressure sensor . Thanks

Any type of weird noises coming from inside the engine

Could be the oil pressure switch-Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge and if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal the oil pump pressure relief valve might not be opening or an engine bearings problem.

Do you give the truck high revs the gauge move with the revs when accelerating.
