when i accelerate or brake i hear a sound of a cupped tire hum coming from the rear of vehicle. just changed brakes but did it before. seems to be no vibration, just the noise. kind of like a bearing with no grease or oil. u-joints?

most likely its the rear end pinion bearings. slight on and off the throttle usually makes the noise come and go. hope this helps
