2002 Sierra. Bug Zapper noise

? When I am comming to a stop from 50 mph to 30 mp I get this bug type zapping sound comming from underneath the truck? Any Ideas

Are u noticing any performance issues? Also any check engine light? My guess would youre power steering, Or rack pinion system, Also u you have A/C system it could be youre clutch system in youre A/C compressior pulley kicking in & out. Common thing have happening, My friends pickup does it all the time.

I do not have any check engine lights, it is a 2002 4x4 100,000 miles. The sound is like a bug zapper gone wild or a stun gun type zapping. It some time happens when I back out of a space and turn the wheel to go forward.
