2002 GMC Sierra Heater coil - hose connectors

Who makes and sells a tool to release the DORMAN connectors which hold the heater hoses to the heater coil? I tried several auto parts stores and only found fuel and A/C quick disconnects. No luck on GMC or Chevy heater hoses.

lisle tool company makes every special tool known to man and are very inexpensive

If this is your clamp I use either regular pliers, or water pump pliers, depending how big it is.

If this is not the clamp you are talking about, disregaurd! Tim's tool co calls them Flat band pliers.

Actually Tim the top pliers are mine and the bottom came from the tool co you recommended...10 seconds to find it!

your good. im still getting the hang of mw snap you recommended, i love it but it takes me a while to do. im like a old dog but im learning new tricks, it just takes me a little longer than it used to.
