im trying to find out why i have a check engin light on and the obd2 plug has no power to it and the lighter fuse keeps blowing. i would like to know what i need to to do to fix both these issues. thanks for your help.

Check for foreign objects in the light receptacles that could be shorting. Things like gum wrappers, coins and such are common.
