2001 GMC Sierra Hard starting

When starting the engine, it needs to be cranked 3 times before it starts. The fuel pump was replaced about a year and a half ago, this cranking problem started about a year ago.

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure tester designed for your fuel system to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump
