2000 GMC Sierra V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

this code shows on the reader : heated oxygen sensor insufficient switcing bank 1sensor 1( rear bank) ,does the OS neads replacement or the the bank 1 sensor 1, and where is this bank one sensor one ,(rear bank), thank you.

Your vehicle's bank 1, sensor 1 oxygen sensor will be in the left exhaust pipe before the cat. converter. If this code appears it does usually indicate a faulty oxygen sensor, however it wouldn't hurt to have the other oxygen sensors tested as well.
