I have been diagnosing a problem with this truck all weekend. I thought my injectors may have been bad until I read a post on here that said the poppet valves need 50 psi or more of fuel pressure to operate. I hooked a fuel pressure gauge on my schrader valve and found 12 psi. My pump was also making some rough noise. I changed the fuel filter to rule out that being a problem and found I was still only getting 10-12 psi when cycling the key on and off. Then the pump quit all together. I get no pressure and no noise when I turn key on. I am pretty sure the pump is shot. If anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate it. I did check all the fuses, they are good. Also, I have noticed there are 2 types of fuel pumps for this truck, one with EVAP Emissions and one without. Any way of telling which I will need before I drop the tank?

Thank you.

Thank you for the quick response. I am shopping around for the pump now. I am not sure if I need the one marked "With EVAP" or "Without EVAP". Do you know of any way I can figure out which I need?

Thanks
