2000 GMC Sierra fuel pump

i think my fuel pump is out, is there a way to check power to the pump. no pressure in the fuel rail, tried changing the fuel pump relay, but would like to be sure it is the pump before replacing it.

Find the gray wire on the fuel pump connector and power it from the battery positive -it should come on if the ground side is good
