2000 GMC Sierra Engine idle low and shutsdown

I have a 2000 GMC sierra that appears to be idling low on start up and the engine dies after a few minutes. It starts up fine and was able to drive 30 mile then engine shut off. I think it has something to do with the throttle but not sure. Any help would be great.

Check for trouble codes
Open hood and check for vacuum leaks
Check IAC valve and MAF sensor
