After driving my sierra on the freeway for about a little less than a hour, after exiting my transmission shifting (Aoutomatic) becomes very agreesive, it feels like if I get rear ended of how hard it shifts. After I turn it off for about 5 minitues and drive it again everything is back to normal. What could be the problem

hi I have a similar problem after the highway my gmc jumps hard into second gear. On another forum they said it could be caused by the computer shifting the tranny hard to make up for any engine problem like high temperature or lean mix (causes high temp) or another engine problem. I'm still working on it.
