1999 GMC Sierra Air bag light

Air bag light came on a couple of days ago and will not go out. It is a steady light. The vehicle has never been in a major accident.

Chances are there is a bad sensor. Keep in mind, the if the light is on, the air bag won't work. What I recommend is to take the truck to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer to identify why the light is on. Most parts stores will do it for free.
