1998 GMC Sierra Turn signal and lights

My left turn signal blinks fast and the left brake light does not work. I tried replacing the front turn signal bulb as well as the brake light bulb. They still do not work and I checked the fuses and they are all fine. What is wrong?

Have the turn and hazard switch tested the brake and turn signal circuits goes thru this switch before it gets to the rear lights
