1995 GMC Sierra truck is running but blowin smoke

i recently had to put a new gas tank on my truck cause the old one was leaking put a new tank and pump on started it up and it shakes real bad has now getup and go is blowing lots of black smoke and the oil keeps going a quart over and is now pitch black even though i just changed it any ideas?

The black smoke indicates a rich mixture. Check fuel pressure to see if the regulator is bad.
