1995 GMC Sierra V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual

The brake lights on my dad's truck stay on all the time. We have to disconnect the battery so it doesn't die. Could you please try to help me out? Thank you.

How can I find the switch? I got under the dash and found a white box but I couldn't see or feel anything that resembled a switch? I can't even get in there to get a picture...

The brake switch should be activated by the brake pedal arm. It may be a son--of--a-- gun to get at. I'll see if I can find a picture for location. My info just says it is on the brake pedal bracket. All repair info says to disarm air-bag, where applicable, when working under the dash.
