1992 GMC Sierra V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my truck starts up fine but dies after 30 sec. or less , you put gas in the carb and it stays on longer, i give it gas and it dies.

Im having the exact same problem with the same make and model. I have checked spark (replaced plugs), replaced fuel filter, and fuel pump "sounds" as though it is active. I have no clue what to do now!
