This is a G3500 Savannah van. It has an irregular high idle problem. Cleaned the idle control value and it was fine for a while. After doing this several time, finally replaced the entire throttle body. It may do fine for a couple of days, then the problem comes back. Will do it for a while, then be fine again for no apparent reason. The engine being hot or cold doesn't seem to matter. It may do it when first cranked in the morning, or may start when stopping at a stop sign. Any ideas?

Inspect and test the throttle position and mass airflow sensors-might want to check the accelerator linkage/cable for kinked/sticking/binding?????
