2001 GMC Savana Rear Brake Drum Removal

What is the trick to removing the rear brake drum --Usually there is a small rubber plug to remove and back off a star wheel to release the shoe tension --Not so with this Van --Please help !!!

look real close and see if you see a spot where the rubber plug should be. you will see it outlined. smash that piece in with a hammer and screwdriver then unadjust shoes.
