2004 GMC Safari Battery Indicator Light

Electrical problem
2004 GMC Safari Two Wheel Drive Automatic 76900 miles

The battery indicator light comes on and off.
I had the battery checked and it is fine.
I had a mechanic check the alternator and it is working correctly.
The Amp indicator instrument is where it has always been.
I disconnected the battery to allow the computer reset.
Any suggestions?

The problem could be the computer's controlled of the alternator field duty cycle signal.
