1996 GMC Safari i hit my brakes and the pedal presses back

Brakes problem
1996 GMC Safari 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

i hit my brakes and the pedal presses back and wont stop sometimes its got the hydroboost setup instead of vacum assist but i replaced the hydroboost and power steering pump and was wondering if the master cylinder could be the problem or maybe something else but i figured those componets might be it but i need another oppionion

If your pedal is pulsating -could be the brake rotors are warped

well the rotors are brand new so are the calipers and brake lines

Could be coming from the ABS unit if it has one

If u hear noise(usually pretty loud so its very noticeable) and the pedal is pulsating rapidly and ure brakes are not responding, Its the abs sensors in the wheelbearings. Very rare does the abs unit go bad. unfortunately, u have to buy the wheelbearing hub assembly to fix it wich could be costly since u still dont know wich side is doing it. (front left or front right) try unplugging the sensors 1 at a time to see which one is giving u the problem.
