My car gets no heat unless I am traveling at high speeds for about 10 min. My temp Gauge reads high 235, once the van runs for a while but does not overheat or change performance. I changed the thermostat, but still no change, I was told it could be my water pump, or my heater core is cloged. I see no leaks under van overnight. Also, coolant in reservour doesnt change much when van is hot. What do you think it could be?

Retest the thermostat if okay -Could be a clogged-up radiator and heater core to include air in the system-If its the water pump it will start to overheat within 10mins

The temp runs high, but I drove 40 min. On highway, no smoke no change in performance, I think it may be a clogged heater core, I've heard it is possible to use a garden hose to flush it out, have you ever heard this?

Try flushing it out and also check if it has a heater control valve and check that too-or could very well be a door problem with air mix/blend/mode, vacuum and actuator and the HVAC contol module
