I was used to getting between 20 to 25 mpg. Then I had to have the fuel pump and filter replaced and had a full tune-up done and since then I have had poor milage preformance and a loss of power. The engine seems to run smooth and starts very easy and does not burn oil. What can I do?

Hi:
If the engine is running well and it started since the tune up, that is a good question. Make sure when they were doing the tune up they didn't remove vacuum hoses and forget to replace them (listen for vacuum leaks). Also, a common cause of poor fuel mileage is a bad O2 sensor. Is the check engine light coming on?

Let me know what you find.

Joe
