1992 GMC Safari Fuel injection - No Pulse

Electrical problem
1992 GMC Safari 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

4.3 vortec, CPFI, Truck ran like crap for a few days then wouldn't start for a day then it did, now won't start at all unless you prime it and will run for a few seconds untill gas is burnt up.

Fuel pressure ok,
12 volts at injector harness with ignition on

I believe this year of 4.3 does not have a CKP as I don't see one close to the harmonic balancer. Is the injector pulse generated from the camshaft position sensor only? Would this be the problem or the ECM or something I am missing altogether?
Is the camshaft position sensor part of the ignition module located inside the distributer?

Hi, proper fuel pressure is critical on these systems, you need to use a fuel pressure gage. You need to be sure about injector pulse, use a noid lite. The rpm signal comes from ignition module. Any codes?

Sometimes on these systems, the injector poppets need cleaning.
