i have a 1995 gmc jimmy 4x4 with a blown rear currently drive in 4 wheel as front wheel drive how long will it last before the whole thing goes

Very hard to say. The front axle wasn't designed to carry the full load of the vehicle. If you take it easy and don't try to race it you will keep it together longer. A used rear axle isn't that hard to toss in if you plan on keeping it.
