1988 GMC S15 Changing the fuel filter

Engine Performance problem
1988 GMC S15 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Would like to get some information on changing the fuel filter on my GMC S15 Jimmy. Do you have any information about how to best get at it? Just trying to learn how to do this and have very little mechanical experience.

The filter is located along the inside of the frame rail, I believe the driver's side. It unbolts from the steel fuel lines then the filter will unbolt from the ratainer it is held with.
