The driver's side door will not close correctly without really slamming the door. How do you adjust the latch or receiver knob to get the door to close easier. My 92 yr old dad's farm truck. I am refurbishng it. Runs great and looks good on the outside. INterior is pits. I have ordered new stuff for interior.

THanks,
Keith

try to jiggle the catch on the inside of the door jam if it moves, go ahead try and tighten it up. you must hold the catch at original position then tighten it.

The striker in the door jamb should have a Torx bit where you can loosen it to adjust it out. Sometimes the new strikers have a plastic anti-rattle shield that breaks off and that can make them need to be shut harder
