I was given a Firebird with a motor in it that I am sure did not come with this 1985 car. I am not sure if it is a big block or small block, the car is not running either. The Edlebrook carb. Is to big to even close the hood. But maybe you can help me figure it out. I have checked every resource too. I first checked all around the bell housing and cannot find the Engine Id #. But did notice the bottom cover over the fly wheel is missing. I did get some codes/suffix etc. I will just simply start with the top of the motor, and by the way the motor is a dull shiny blue. In front of carburator is 625365, and a GM with a 3 under that. By intake is B327. On top of timing chain cover behind the pulleys is 667. Next :Passenger side of motor:under valve covers L161. Middle side is 7H1
lower middle is: 10013734/with 1290 under that
bottom by oil stick: AHN2335
bottom under motor:GM-6/and a DN near that
also a 350. On the front bottom of motor is a GM-6 with a DN under that. Now on the driver side middle:10015736, middle motor:7H1, then lower is 350. The firing order stamped on the top is 18486572, on the timing set it looked to be 40482. On the very bottom of the motor in the middle is 481037. Could you please help me figure this out? My boyfriend does not know either.

What engine is this? Its stamped-in on the back of the engine top side near the bell housing drivers side-

When you get this no.S I'll do a cross references for you.

The Edlebrook carb. Is to big to even close the hood-they probably took the hook, put the original back on it. Who knows

18486572 its 18436572 typical GM F/O
