Water leak

I've just purchased a 1988 Cadillac Eldorado and I found out that it has water leaking near where the belts are, can you tell me what it means?

It sounds to me like your water pump is leaking replace ur water pump and you should be fine :)

YEP ITS YOUR WATER PUMP U CAN BUY A REMANUFACTURED ONE AND REPLACE IT
