Hi, I have a 98 Isuzu Hombre V6 auto (like Chevy S10) with an ever-growing trans fluid leak. It appears to be leaking from the passenger side of the trans.

Do you have any experience or suggestions how to deal with this problem?

Thanks! Dave Larson

you will have to determine where leak is from. it would be dip stick tube, trans lines, pan gasket, or the main wiring plug to the trans. also clean and check the cover between motor/trans and see if it is comming out of a hloe in cover.

to fix you will have to determine exactly where it is comming from. you may have to pull the heat sheid off. it is a 13mm and only 2 bolts.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Using your suggestions, I will get under there and check out the exact source of the leak. I'm hoping it's a DIY job.

Thanks again. Dave
