I have a 1995 chevy corsica. It starts up with no problem at all but when you first go to take off it dies. It will always start right back up and may die one more time but then doesn't do it any more after that untill you turn it off for awhile. It does this everyday. We bought the car after it has set for one year. I don't know exactly what could cause this and don't want to spend allot of money to find out what I am doing is wrong. Can you tell me what direction to look in. We have also put carb and fuel injector cleaner in it as well. Can you help me :

Does it throw any service engine/check engine codes? This would eliminate a lot of guess work and help us give you a better idea. Has this car had a tuneup and oil change? Remember, a car should have it's oil changed every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever comes first. If it has been sitting for a year it may be overdue for an oil change. Check spark plugs for proper gap and check and replace air filter.

Yes, it the service engine soon light comes on after awhile of driving but there does't seem to be any problems when it does. Oil has been changed and is very clean. We will give it a tune up and see what happens with it. Thank You for your help.

No problem, please advise to the trouble codes it is throwing. They may not be active when there is a problem, but any help would be great.
