Hi, Sandman. You definitly need a wheel puller to get it off. They are not real costly or if you live around an Autozone I think it is a loaner tool from them and is pretty simple to use. Just line up slots with bolt holes, insert bolts, line up center shaft of puller with stud on column and tighten down and the wheel should slowly raise up off column and there you go. At least, that is basically how it should work. Good luck. 8)
