HELLO, iT'S ME AGAIN, WELL NOW I HAVE A REALLY DUMB QUESTION, REMEMBER I WAS THE ONE THAT SAID I HAD NO OIL, WELL I TOLD MY HUSBAND WHAT YOU ALL SAID AND HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE FINE, SO I AM CURIOUS HOW MUCH OIL DOSE A 96 CHEVY BLAZER HOLD, THE REASON FOR THIS QUESTION IS HE HAD ME GO GET 6 QTS, AND TODAY I FOUND THREE OF THEM STILL FULL IN THE BACK OF MY TRUCK, SO WAS I COMPLETELY OUT OF OIL OR NOT? AND WILL MY TRUCK SURVIVE?
SO HOW MUCH OIL DO THEY HOLD OR NORMALLY HAVE IN THEM?
WAS HE JUST TRYING TO MAKE ME GET IT TO CHECK MY OIL?

At the time, when you decided you had no oil. Did you come to that conclusion because you pulled the dip stick and no oil registered?

If so. Then in all likelyness you were down a 2-3 litres. That would account for 3 of the 6 containers you purchased still sitting full in the back of your vehicle. You might want to findout why you were down so much oil and keep an eye on the oil level in your engine.
