I have a 1970 nova, with an 85' 350 and 71' Corvette heads, as of about 2 weeks ago I started hearing a loud ticking noise, and when you press the gas at idle the noise gets faster and then dies back down with the idle.. I thought it was the valve springs, so I just put all new valve seals, retainers, and springs... Still making the same noise??? Any idea what it could be/?

sounds like you have a bad lifter or valve lash out of adjustment on one valve. i would lean towards the lifter since you did the valve springs.
